Madison 2019 QB Austin Brown has adapted quickly since transferring from D1 powerhouse, Catholic Central over the off-season as the junior QB is 1 win away from helping the Madison Eagles qualify for the playoffs.
In Madison's week 4 win over St. Michael, Toronto who in the MHSAA's playoff point system are equal to a Class A school - Brown finished with 370 passing yards and 5 touchdowns in a 61-20 win.
Through 4 weeks, Brown has 1,100 yards of total offense and 16 passing touchdowns and 2 rushing touchdowns for a total of 18 touchdowns.
Madison is facing one their biggest challenges in the regular season as they'll face a 4-0 Marine City squad on Friday night.

8/23/2017: After a storied 2 years at Detroit Catholic Central, Austin Brown came home to play at Madison High School. Brown is an extremely dangerous dual-threat QB who can not only run and throw well, but he has a cannon arm.
College interest: Brown was one of three 8th graders at the time to be offered by Akron. He has picked up two other MAC offers since and has heard from a lot of other schools. Colleges will be evaluating him even tougher now that he went to a smaller enrolled high school.
